Graduation Day

I watched you walk across the stage,
on graduation day,
such a special moment in time,
I didn't know what to say...

you have never looked more happy,
than at this very minute,
I knew it was like a dream come true,
and all of us were in it...

Your dad and I,
we beamed with pride,
we are so proud of you,
we knew that deep within yourself,
it was something you could do..

so now you head out in the world,
in search of many things,
we love you very much,
so stretch and spread your wings...

always remember this milestone,
as you step into the world,
and we will always be here for you,
for you are our special girl.......

Did you know that god above, created you for me to love. He picked you out of all the rest, because he knew id love you best. If i go to heaven and your not there, Ill carve your name on every stair, and if your not there buy judgment day ill know yo...u have gone the other way. So ill give the angels back there wings there golden harps and finer things. so just to prove my love is true, ill go to helll just for you...

Moving Sale Blues

It's raining again,
those translucent drops,
are falling to the ground,
My moving sale is ruined,
and I sit here with a frown,

I drag it in, I drag it out,
Its driving me crazy,
I want to shout,
go away rain, or I just might pout,

do I keep going? or give up and go,
I'm afraid if I stay out here,
that it just might snow,

I sit in the garage, I decided to stay,
amazed at the crazy people, who came my way,
out in the cold, to brave the weather,
Looking for that long lost treasure,

It wasn't all bad, this day is done,
and what's that I see, but the long lost sun!!!!!

The Busy Angel

Who is this busy lady,
who's face we do not know,
she's always walking fast,
and forever on the go...

we must go here, we must go there,
and "yoo hoo" come to me,
she's very, very small,
and busy as a bee...

It's hard for her to sit and eat,
she cannot concentrate,
forever on the go,
and dont you dare be late....

she walked, and walked,
and had a hard life,
she would only sit and rest,
with the love of her life....

but what she had,
it took her down,
she was too weak to fight,
and Jesus came to talk with her,
sometime through the night...

he said " my dear" please come with me,
I've come to take you home,
you have suffered long enough,
I have a place where you can roam....

so Jesus took her on to heaven,
he could give her things to do,
I can almost see her running after angels,
and yelling as she runs "Yoo Hoo".......

Halloween Night

twas the night before Halloween,
I was feeling real small,
I was running around screaming,
there's a ghost in the hall...

it was white with green eyes,
it scared me so bad,
then it went in the kitchen,
for the dinner we had...

it ate up our dinner,
and laughed at us for fun,
it made me so mad,
I put that ghost on the run....

then I turned right around,
and it was in my bed,
not listening to one word,
that I had just said...

I yelled and I screamed,
you get outta there,
that is my bed,
and your not welcome here....

the ghost got up,
and ran out the door,
yelling and screaming,
I wont come here no more....

And I heard the ghost cry,
as it ran away with a fright,
happy Halloween to all,
and to all a good night.....

Kevin from Heaven

God sent me an angel,
right down from heaven,
he gave me a boy,
I named him Kevin....

I am his mother,
he is my boy,
the love in his heart,
gives me such joy...

Kevin is cute,
his smile lights the day,
this beautiful boy,
will help guide my way...

boys are mischievious,
and curious and fun,
they like to wrestle,
they like to run....

I never knew how good life could be,
until the day that God blessed me,
with Kevin my precious boy from heaven....
